Dr. Joseph Stewart has been the senior pastor of Grace Bible Church since October of 2012. Prior to coming he ministered as senior pastor of Delavan Baptist Church for 11 years. His ministry experience includes planting two churches, leading a high school youth ministry, and leading a music ministry. Joe is married to Beckie and they share 5 children ranging in ages from 32 to 13. Beckie and Joe met at Moody Bible Institute where she graduated in Journalism and he received his BA in Biblical Theology. Joe also received a Mdiv degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and his Dmin from Fuller Seminary. Joe currently is a board associate of Bible Related Ministries, a ministry committed to helping churches overcome conflict or transition in the Midwest.
Beckie has been a valuable asset to ministry as a teacher, leader, and co-counselor. She organizes and leads an annual ladies retreat called, “Come Here and Rest” taken from her published book of the same title.
