Healing has never been the main point, salvation has been.
Healing is compassion with a purpose, the purpose of leading people to salvation

The rejected stone

In 1880 Cecil Rhodes and CD Rhudd formed the DeBeers mining company. In 8 years he would own all of the Kimberly claims and every other mining company in the region. DeBeers would go on to create a global monopoly that would control the diamond industry for a century. He snatched up most of the claims at bargain basement prices because of diamondiferous soil. One man sold his claim under pressure but knowing the value kept a large chunk. Which hid one of the largest diamonds the world has ever seen.

People are breaking against Christ, instead of submitting to the chief cornerstone. Lives can be built on Christ, should be built.

I see people reversing the process of Christianity.
Adopt the rules for holy living
Mature into submission. But that leaves a person without Holy Spirit help, without joy and ultimately leads to dead legalism. 1 John 5:3 says that keeping his commandments are not a burden, it’s the very thing we want to do.

If trying to be a good Christian is exceedingly hard bereft of any joy and peace, perhaps the need is to simply submit.

“Lord, I am so weak, I need You to help me today…with everything!”
